Chicken and Waffle Sliders
It is football season, which means some cooler weather, tailgating, and fun with friends. I’ve been looking for some new tailgating ideas and this is one you are going to love. Chicken and Waffle Sliders come together quickly and are easy to transport to any gathering. Take these to your next tailgate party to score some big compliments!
I have even made these to take to a breakfast potluck or a brunch with friends. And they are SO simple to assemble. Simply bake the nuggets, toast the waffles and assemble the sliders. It doesn’t get any easier than that to feed a hungry breakfast or tailgating crowd.
Chicken and Waffle Sliders Recipe
What’s needed?
- 24- ounce bag Tyson Chicken Nuggets
- 2 boxes Eggo Mini Waffles
- toothpicks
- maple syrup
How to make Sliders?
- Bake your chicken nuggets according to package instructions.
- While the chicken is baking, toast the waffles and separate.
- Assemble waffle sliders by placing one mini waffle on the bottom of a large tray, then add a chicken nugget on top.
- Add a drizzle of maple syrup to each warm chicken nugget before topping with another mini waffle and securing with a toothpick.
That is all there is to it.
Serve these yummy little bites with more syrup and watch them disappear. I recently took Chicken and Waffle Sliders to a breakfast gathering at work and they were a hit! Easy to prepare and easy to eat makes them a great choice for a breakfast or brunch party with friends. Thanks to foodfolksandfun.net for the inspiration.
