Slow-Cooker Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches
I recently came across a recipe for Slow-Cooker Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches that looked amazing. Peppers, onions, mushrooms and a beef roast come together in the slow-cooker to create these savory sandwiches. Add some gooey cheese and stack it all on a fresh Kaiser roll for the best cheesesteak sandwich. Easy and full of flavor!
Although cheesesteak sandwiches are typically made on a flat top griddle, I wanted to use my slow-cooker. I combined a chuck roast with seasonings and vegetables and let it cook for several hours to make the meat tender and juicy. Shred the beef and add loads of shredded cheese before serving this recipe on Kaiser rolls. Makes the perfect sandwich for game day or a easy weekend lunch.
