Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower
My family loves veggies that have been cooked in the air fryer and this is one of our favorite recipes. Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower is a great side dish for burgers, roasted chicken or grilled pork chops. These spicy little nuggets make a healthy addition to any meal. They are big in flavor and low in calories, why not add them to dinner tonight?
Cauliflower is so versatile and can be cooked in a variety of ways. Slice it into steaks and roast it in the oven with olive oil and sea salt for a savory side dish to beef or chicken. Or chop it into 1/4-inch pieces and add it to soups and stews to thicken without adding cream.
And why not remove the grease and lower the calories by using the air fryer to cook it? This keeps it crispy and delicious, but makes it a healthier side dish. We like cauliflower best when it is roasted in the air fryer with breadcrumbs and hot sauce to make it crunchy and spicy.
Tips on making Buffalo Cauliflower in the air fryer:
- Make sure to cut the cauliflower into pieces that are the same size, about 1/2 inch. This reduces the amount of time needed for air frying and ensures that all of the cauliflower is cooked through and done at the same time.
- If using an air fryer with a basket, place a paper liner inside the basket to make clean up easier. Air fryer liners are available in most grocery stores or online.
- Be sure to add the cauliflower to the air fryer tray or basket in a single layer. This allows the cauliflower to cook evenly. Before air frying, spray the cauliflower with cooking spray. This results in a crispier cauliflower after cooking.
