Buckeye Dip tastes like the center of a Buckeye candy and is served on a snack board with cookie sticks, graham crackers and chocolate covered pretzels. I love Ohio and all the foods that come from our great state. This game day snack is a winner and is sure to get the party started!

Buckeye Dip

The official candy for Ohio is the Buckeye, a small ball of peanut butter and powdered sugar dipped in chocolate. Such a sweet and creamy treat! I grew up in Ohio and have eaten buckeyes for years. Dark Chocolate Buckeyes are easy to make and so rich and creamy!

When I make Buckeye Dip, I like to serve it as the center of a grazing tray or snack board. Guests can munch while watching a big football game, GO Bucks!, or nibble as they talk with family and friends.

What can I serve with Buckeye Dip?

I include lots of choices for dippers, including apple slices, celery sticks, fresh strawberries, vanilla cookie sticks, graham crackers and chocolate covered pretzels. I even add nuts, like almonds or pecans. And I always include a small bowl of strawberry jam for those PB&J lovers, too!

How to make Buckeye Dip?

Simply mix the ingredients together in a medium bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. It is just that simple. I like to sprinkle a few extra mini chocolate chips on top of the dip after I put it in a serving bowl or spread it right on the board. This gives it a pretty presentation.
