Hearty Baked Beans

Hearty Baked Beans Recipe
What’s needed?
- 15 ounces pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 15 ounces butter beans, rinsed and drained
- 15 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 3 slices thick cut bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 10 ounces condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup mild salsa
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
How to make Hearty Baked Beans?
- Cook the ground beef and onion until browned, drain the fat.
- Meanwhile, drain and rinse all three cans of beans and place them in a 4-5 quart slow cooker. Beans are inexpensive and packed with protein.
- Add the ground beef and onions and stir. Add the remaining ingredients and stir.
- Cover and heat on high for 2 hours, reduce heat to low and cook for 1 hour.
