Ingredients
1cupwater
1cupmilk
2cinnamon sticks
2chai tea bags
1/2teaspoonvanilla
3ouncesKahlua
2tablespoonshoney
1/4cupheavy cream, or coffee creamer
Stir-ins:
cinnamon sticks
whipped cream
pinchof nutmeg
crystalized ginger
Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat the water and milk to boiling.
Turn the heat off and add the cinnamon sticks and tea bags to the saucepan, steep the tea for 10 minutes.
Add the vanilla, Kahlua, honey and heavy cream. Heat just until warm. Pour into mugs and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Recipe makes two drinks.
