Ingredients
1 3/4cupsall-purpose flour
1/2cupgranulated sugar
1/2cuppowdered sugar
1teaspoonbaking soda
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2cupunsalted butter, softened
2tablespoonsmilk
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1largeegg
For decorating:
1/4cupwhite sugar
1/4cupred sugar
36Hershey Kisses, white chocolate with peppermint pieces, unwrapped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine first 5 ingredients. Add wet ingredients and mix at low speed until a stiff dough is formed.
Mix 1/4 white sugar and 1/4 cup red sugar in a small bowl. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper about 2 inches apart. Bake for 12 minutes or until set. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
Place a white chocolate peppermint kiss on each cookie. Remove the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Recipe makes 36 cookies.
